As one year closes and another begins, reflect with me:
2007 was a wonderful year for the Simpsons in so many ways:
Kevin and I watched Kiera grow into a sensitive, loving, happy toddler. We never thought having a child would be so rewarding.
We survived on one income and did not kill each other! Now, we just wonder what the heck we did with all that money when both of us were getting paid?!?
We nurtured some amazing friendships through our church and neighborhood. We started a Dinner Party that meets monthly, planned a block party, and led an amazing Progressive Holiday Party.
We worked very hard for our church. I ran the Children's Ministry with help from Tasha, and the women's ministry with lots of help. Kevin continued to help with the Parking Lot team. We celebrated many births and made many dinners.
In 2008 are hopes and dreams are:
To become active in our new church and meet lots of new friends.
Begin trying for #2 once Kiera is weened and we have the money. Did I mention that I hate infertility?
For Kevin to look into a new airline and for me to still be able to stay home.
Getting out of debt. I hope we never use a credit card as long as we live!!!
Starting a tutoring business and maybe a Scrapbooking business.
To scrapbook more and host crops at my house and oh yeah, convert ALL of my friends into scrapbookers!!!

Great post, and the pictures are really cute. I had a great time scrapbooking last night (even if I didn't actually do any projects). I got my scrapbooking room all set up and made a cover page for my book today - the cricut is really cool!
Yay more scrap nights. I had so much fun.
