Little Ladybug Scores some loot

First off, Happy Halloween! We had an uneventful day with me laying on the couch nursing a cold. Kevin and Kiera ventured out and went to the library and Chic-fil-a. Then it was time for Kevin to go to work and Kiera and I to get ready for Halloween. I took her to about 8 houses, which were houses of people I knew. She was a huge hit! Here she is ready to go:

After a few more, we ended up at Chris and Jerry's. Just look at Chris' face.

On to Joanne's, where she got to pick her own candy!

She did really well and had a lot of fun. She really knew how to spread her little fingers out and grab as much candy as possible! Smart kid. For only eight houses, she came home with half a bucketfull.

For the rest of the night, we joined our neighbors in Joanne's driveway for dinner and trick or treating. We had more kids than I have ever seen here, but we still came home with candy. It was a great night. Halloween is a lot of fun when you have kids.
