Here is Kiera in front to the fire pit with her custom Cricut made camping sign:
Each child got some glow-in-the-dark glow sticks and could make a bracelet or a necklace.
Here is Kate showing hers off:
For dinner we had grilled hot dogs w/ or w/o chili , beans, marshmallow salad and chips.
Kiera was quite fond of the chips. But, they got so low (everyone was quite fond of them) that she drug her booster chair over, so she could stand in it and eat more chips:
They love each other and are so very silly together!
One of my favorite activities was family flashlight tag. Each child got to choose an animal flashlight (as a party favor) and their name printed on a label. The reason for this was so we could play tag...family style. Each family hid somewhere outside on our property and the family that was IT had to go find them. We were it first. Here we are counting in the garage:
Present time....
She liked it for five minutes and then Oreo took it over!
Oh well.
We were found the most, so we were it the most.
Part of our problem was Kiera didn't understand that you had to be quiet, she sort of viewed it as a punishment and the dog ran around like a maniac until he found us.
It truly was a lot of fun , though!
Next, was cake time.
I made Kiera a yellow cake with chocolate frosting. I made a camp fire out of sprinkles and frosting.
One of the cutest things, was Kiera trying to feed her BFF, Kate, some of her cake. Kate is so polite, she didn't scream NO, she just turned her head.
Kiera got some great gifts! Thank you to everyone!
We had such a terrific time!
I just love planning parties and this one was a huge success!
Happy Birthday Kiera!
