Little Piece of Paradise

Words that fill my mind are:
serene
natural
beautiful
calm

Those are just a few. This is what we woke up to on Tuesday morning. One of the perks of being married to a pilot is that you can vacation midweek. We decided to pull the RV out and blow the dust off the counters and take it for a roll. We headed up to Lake Somerville and enjoyed a little piece of paradise. We got the choice of sites and only saw two other campsites being occupied. It was heaven. The weather was beautiful and the above pictures were taken when the temp just barely reached 57 degrees. That is cold. Here are Kevin and Kiera bundled in the RV:


We kept ourselves busy playing cribbage, riding bikes, and I even did a little scrapbooking.



This is a sweet picture of Kiera approaching Kevin. It was pitch dark, so he could not see her. Again, the picture will not turn around, but you can still appreciate her cuteness.

We had a fabulous time. We wished we had some friends that could share this little piece of paradise with us. Kiera needed a playmate. Anyone want to join us next time??? We hope to go again soon.
