Drinking in the Driveway
Friday is our neighborhood designated, "Get Together" Day. We don't do it every Friday, but we do get together at least once a month. We named it Drinking in the Driveway because that is what we do. No one gets stupid drunk. Some of us just drink coffee. Last Friday, was no exception. Even though it was nearly freezing according to the thermometer, we stuck it out and got together. We ordered pizza and I brought a salad and cookies. We had a fire pit to keep us warm. Kiera had to wear her snowsuit. Hey, at least we got use out of it!

That sounds like a fun idea. I never see my neighbors...ever!
You do have a great neighborhood - I'm jealous! Ours is not so much in the way of hanging out or even meeting our neighbors.
Come visit this winter and we will put that snow suit to use. hehe You do have great neighbors.
Snowsuit, in Houston!! Us Chicago folks would have been in shorts with margaritas and a fan going.
