Another year has passed and tis the season for resolutions. I am not very good at keeping, resolutions, so instead I will write a prayer that I hope God will answer in His timing:
Dear God,
Thank you so much for my health, my family, and my friends. You have blessed us in so many ways over the last year and I ask for your continued blessings. Both Kevin and I would desperately like to have another child. I know that each child is a gift from You and we ask that You entrust us with another lovely gift. The road of infertility is hard and we need You to be right by our sides. We also ask for the gift of health. Please keep Kevin healthy so he can go to work and provide for his family. Thank you God, for sparing Kevin a furlough. We continue to ask You for job security for Kevin as well as keeping him safe on each trip. I ask that you see me through the tonsillectomy and restore my body to a healthy state. Please support me in my struggle with eating correctly and exercising regularly. Please help both of us raise Kiera in a loving Christian home. Give us the patience, consistancy, and love that she desperately needs. Lastly, free Kevin and I from our strongholds. Help us simplify our lives so we can focus on You and bring You the honor You deserve. Thank you Father. In Jesus' precious holy name, Amen!
As I continue through this year, I will look back at this prayer and see God's amazing work. Happy New Year!

Your prayer was beautiful, and I hope that God not only grants you your wishes - but that he does it in a way that blesses you & Kevin even more than you can imagine.
I wrote a post yesterday about a book that I think you should read. It's got a wonderful message, and I think that you'd enjoy it. It has certainly changed my outlook somewhat, and my prayers too.
