The old saying is March roars in like a lion. I believe it should be March scorches like a dragon. Yesterday it was 88 degrees here. So what would smart Houstonian do....go dunk themselves in water. Our neighborhood Splash Pad is open year round, so Kiera and I headed out for a little fun. She absolutely loved it. I caught her laughing out loud many times. It was the cutest sight. She didn't even mind too much when the water sprayed in the face. We will definately be spending our days there over the summer.
Other things going on in the Simpson household...
Kevin is at the Bristol race and K and I are holding down the fort. Last night we went to Staci's for all night scrap-a-thon! Well, we went to bed at 1:30, but we did get a lot of scrapping done. I stayed the night so I wouldn't have to move Little Boo in the middle of the night. Also, I hate driving at night. People in Houston drive like fools!
Today we are going to a birthday party and out to dinner with a neighbor. It should be a great day!
