Ready Set Go....

I feel like life is moving fast now.......

Let me explain: I don't usually talk much about God in my posts, but maybe I should mention that I am one of His BIGGEST fans!!!! I have been leading bible studies for over three years now and am currently leading a women's bible study on Monday morning. Well, as you all know, my church folded or merged or whatever...disingrated....and everyone is everywhere. But, we kept our women's bible study together and I can honestly say it is stronger now than it has EVER been! We are currently transitioning into a more ministry driven group and I could not be more thrilled. God is opening doors so fast I can hardly catch my breath! But, I am loving it. So, if you are reading this blog and you know of a way that 10 Stay At Home Moms can help you or somewhere in the community, please let me know. Also, we got our men helping each other with Honey Do's each month and hopefully every quarter they will go out and help someone they don't know for free! We called it Man Camp! Aww...the work of God! I just love it!

The weekend is right around the corner and it is going to be a fun one....
Maybe some scrappin on Friday here at the house, dinner party on Saturday, and Man Camp at my house on Sunday along with the beginning of the His Needs, Her Needs Bible Study! I am excited about the dinner party because we will be grilling Ka-bobs on our new charcoal grill and I will be teaching my friends Canasta! So much fun! On Sunday the men are coming over and helping Kevin drywall the garage ceiling. Sunday night we head over to Jess & Jim's for our new study. Kevin and I did our study together last night and surprised each other with our needs. For curious minds, my five top needs are in order:
1. Financial Security
2. Affection
3. Conversation
4. Family Commitment
5. Recreational Support (going to things I enjoy--not scrapbooking!)

Now before you think I am money hungry.....the directions were if only one need were met by your husband what would it be and that is number one. If only two needs were met, what would they be and that is number two....

Kevin never thought affection would make my list, but it did! Ha Ha--I am not a cold fish. A girl needs an occassional kiss, a DAILY foot rub, etc. Oh my, I hope my MOM is not reading this! Anyway, I am sure this study will change our lives. Bible studies are good for that!

Turns out Kevin wishes I kept a cleaner house....me too. Here I go to go hang up laundry! Oh did I tell you that I have a maid coming on Friday! YEP! I am excited. She is only coming once (maybe once a month if I can convince Kevin)!
