Well, nothing major has changed, but I thought it would be good to give a little update on all of us....
Kevin~
He is doing very well. We wish we could say the same about his line of work. This past week, another airline tried to purchase his current airline. While the deal did not go through, it seems a merger may be in the future. This is probably not a good thing for Kevin. He would like to jump ship and go somewhere else, but there is no ship to jump to. Also, we have a very nice life here and are not ready to move.
He stays busy working on various things. He and a couple of his friends recently drywalled his garage, excuse me, his workshop and now he has decided it is his newest hangout. He is also my personal waterer (more info on that in my update). He has worked on our three cars (don't ask why we have three cars) and even done some work on our friend's cars. He says he likes to be useful!
Kiera~
She is also doing very well. She is walking full time and has lately put some pep in her step, but has not full out run yet! She is currently cutting five teeth (four molars and one in the bottom front). Cutting teeth is NO FUN!!! She still loves her baby doll, Sophia. She can be found carrying her in her arms, pushing her in her baby stroller, or just putting her in various places (the tub, the dishwasher, her highchair, etc.). Kiera also loves to sing and read her books. She carries the ABC tune very well. She has a few words, but doesn't seem to be very advanced in the area of vocabulary (well at least not in English, turns out she knows Swahili quite well). We are not worried since Einstein did not talk until he was three. Her current words are night night, wa wa (water), yight (light) , yeyes (eyes), bop bop (ball). She can also tell a joke. If you ask her to tell you a joke she will say BOP! and she thinks that is the funniest thing. We laugh with her, but really have no idea what the heck is so funny. She also recently learned to shake her head no and practices that new task many times a day much to our dismay. Kevin has taught her some very unpleasant things such as :
Where are your boogers (she then picks her nose)
Where is your ear wax (she points to her tongue)
Are you sick (she opens her mouth and makes a barfing sound)
All in all, she is doing great and we could not have asked for a better Boo!
As for me~~~
I am doing great also. I am currently very busy getting the new minstry started with some of my girlfriends from my old church. We are creating a non-profit organization. We are going to be working with Pregnancy Crisis Centers in mentoring ladies and providing baskets of the necessities for babies. Some of us will also teach in different areas at the center. We are very excited about our new adventure.
I have also been working in my yard. My vegetable garden is doing well and is currently growing tomatoes, banana peppers, red and green bell peppers, cauliflour, strawberries, basil, parsley, cilantro, rosemary, carrots, cucumbers, cabbage, and brussel sprouts. I also planted nearly 300 flowers in the front and back. Turns out Kevin hates to garden, but is great at watering. Kevin and I find ourselves outside soaking up the last bit of nice weather before the heat and humidity set in! Life is good!
So there you have it, a family update!

You must post pics of your flowers. I am sure your yard looks great!
What crisis pregnancy center are you working with? "New Life Crisis Pregnancy Center" is associated with our church...just curious!
