When there it is raining all day long, there is nothing left to do, but take a bubble bath. Now, in order to have the best bubble bath in the world, you have to add Bath & Body Works shower gel to the water and then turn on the jets in your Jacuzzi tub. The bubbles rise so quick, you will start to resemble the Marshmellow man in no time. Great Tropical Storm Day fun!!!

On a much more serious note:
My 12 year old neice is having back surgery today to correct a very severe case of scoliosis (sp?) Also, my friend, Jillian is in the ER with severe abdominal pain. Please pray for both of them. They are very important to me!

About this time last year, I stumbled upon a part time job listing in Craig's list about a Creative Writing teaching position with a company called Writers In The Schools. It is a non-profit organization that is trying to teach the youth to become better writers. So they hire professional writers to go into the schools and help. It is mostly working with grades 2-4, but I know they do some community work as well. In order to get the job, I had to submit a resume and a ten page story written by me. I worked very hard writing my story and was very, very proud of it. I submitted all of the requirements the day before the deadline. I even called to make sure they received it (they did) and then I waited. They never called. I figured the job was not right for me. Well, on Friday, they called me and asked me if I was still interested. Heck yah, since it is 2-6 hours per week at $50 an hour!!! So, I have an interview on Tuesday at 11. I have not had an interview in over four years, so I am a little nervous. As soon as I locate my story, I will post it if you are interested. I am so excited to have this opportunity. Even if I don't get the job, I am thrilled they saved my application for a year and called me. I knew I had written a good story! :)
