As the time changes, so are many other things.....
Kiera~
Kiera is now walking full time. I knew one day she would walk, but it still seems so weird to see a little red head be-boppin' around the house. When she was crawling, we could always tell she was coming because you could hear her hands slapping the floor. Now, she sneaks up on you. Kevin has even knocked her down because he turned around and there she was. She has a few more words now besides dada and night night. She can say mama, unch (which is her way of saying Lunch), bopper (diaper), and wa wa (water). She has special sounds for many other things such as shoes, socks, doggie, kitty, and baby, but no one would ever recognize those and I wouldn't even know how to spell them.
Friends~
I have been truly blessed since moving to Houston with some wonderful friendships. But, two of my closest friends are moving. Staci is going to New Foundland and Katja may be moving to the Netherlands. I guess I should be happy that I can fly for free and go visit them, but I still will miss them dearly. And to make matters worse, they both are my Jazzercise friends. Anyone want to join Jazzercise with me??? I just try to focus on the AMAZING scrapbook pages I will be able to create after visiting Canada and Europe. Speaking of scrapbooking~
Part-time jobs~
I started a business called Scrap a doodle do! I am a scrapper for hire. If you don't know what that is, please let me explain....... you know those people that started a scrapbook when their child was young, but never finished it or better yet, you know those people who look at stuff and say "I can do that", but never do..... well if you are one of those people, then you need a scrapper for hire (and I need a grammar lesson with that run-on)! I make and finish scrapbooks. My most popular item is an accordion book that is used mostly for birthday books. I got my first order last week from someone other than a friend. SWEET! I really enjoy making scrapbooks. Where many people find it stressful, worrying about every picture placement, I find it very relaxing.
I am still tutoring as well. I currently tutor one third grade girl and one second grade boy. I will start tutoring another third grade girl once summer starts.
The weather~
Oh boy does this time of year have the best weather. Blue, blue skies and crisp winds with NO humidity! The flowers are blooming the veggies are growing. I haven't killed one yet!
My weight~
I wish I could tell you that was changing...but it is not. I am sad by this because I am eating healthier than I ever have and exercising more than I have in two years, but the scale is not moving! Everyone tells me I am building muscle and muscle weighs more than fat.....but, come on. I should be losing some pounds by now!
Sorry it has been so long since I posted....our Internet was down and we have had some serious modem issues...all fixed.
BTW, my blog will be going private early next week. Some of my blogger friends have sort of freaked me out about who is reading their blogs, so it is time.....
Love, Jenn

Nice to see that things are going well!! The blog world has missed you.
About the weight thing... it's life's biggest mystery how we can make positive changes to our lives - working out steadily and eating better (and smaller in my case) and yet - the scale doesn't move.
I've been told not to worry about it and keep up with the healthy habits - so I'm doing that... hopefully soon we'll see the benefits.
