Week In Review

What a week! This past weekend was the Cypress Calling Ministries Leadership Retreat. It took a lot of planning and organizing, but it all paid off. We had a wonderful time and got so much done. The last few days I have played catch up on sleep :)
***My pictures and descriptions are messed up. I cannot fix them without reloading everything! Some of the descriptions are below the pictures. I am sorry for the confusion.

Here are the binders that Tasha and I created. We spent nearly all week on these, but they turned out great!!!

Here is some of the decor in the country home we rented for the Retreat. The home was beautiful and so serene. It was exactly what we needed.

This is the actual name of the cabin. The porch was beautiful and a nice and quiet place to sit and think!

As we left this was the picture from the rear view mirror.
Simply beautiful!

Staci sent Kiera a present for Valentine's Day. It was a very sweet book thanking God for our family written by Victoria Osteen.
Thanks Staci!

Kiera and Tyson (or more affectionately called Ty Ty)
He is our third black cat (NO! We do not have a thing for black cats, they have a thing for us!) but lives outside.
Kiera is quite fond of him. Here she is patting her legs to get him to come onto her lap. One of our other cats does this, but Tyson has not. If you are wondering how Tyson got his name, it is not after the chicken company, but after the boxer. Tyson has beat up both of our cats and sent them to the vet. He has mellowed in his old age and hasn't started any cat fights lately. He did bite Oreo's ear the other day just confirming that he has the most appropriate name! Don't worry Oreo showed him who is boss (Kevin, quit laughing) and barked him down.

We have been doing some MAJOR construction and reorganizing in our house. With the new hobby room, comes a lot of moving and organizing. I bought these adorable boxes from Hobby Lobby and put our saved cards, mementoes, etc. in them. We all have a box (even Kiera, but hers is a little different). I am touched to report that I already need a bigger box. I have the best friends and family!

Are you still posting Q&A?

If so:

Will Kiera ever figure out the new shoe closet?

Kiera wants to know if she can have an extension cord in her crib so that her night-light will work?

Which one of our cars would win a drag race?

Would Kiera have more fun with a baby brother or sister?

What's for dinner?

There he goes again with the most random and hysterical questions. :-)

I love the pictures... the boxes for momentos is a very cool idea! Maybe you should just get a few boxes and be prepared. :-)

Oh thanks for the shout out. I am glad she loved it. Love the treasure chests too.
